I was really suprised...You should try this!

WHAT IS YOUR REAL AGE!
Ok so here is the deal.. I rarely watch Oprah, however I happened to catch it yesterday with Dr. Oz. I really enjoy watching his shows because I think he gives a realistic perspective on things. I like that he is hopefull, and that he tells you that it is never to late to turn things around. So yesterday on Oprahs show they had this quiz that you could take to see what your real is age as opposed to your calander age. If you want to see the show or a clip of it you can go here. They had a few different people in the audience share their results. I could not believe how good and how bad the results were. However with the bad of course came suggestions to fix and reduce your real age to get it closer or less than your calander age. So I decided to be brave and post my results. I don't know why this seems stressful to do but it is...

My calander age is 27!
My real age is 30!
After you take the quiz they give you like an eleven page print out of what you can do to lower your number.. I have a little work to do. 3 years is not horrible but if I can get them back by making a few simple changes I will.

If you want to take the quiz go here.

I know it is a goal of both mine and Garrans to try and improve the general health of ourselves and our family. We want to stick around for a while to see our kids, grandkids, and who knows what else.. Let me know if you try it... I will be interested in hearing what you thought.

I did it as well. My Calendar age was 29 and my REAL age was 30! :) Ed is going to try it as well! Very informative.

I love the saying "the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother". My husband does an amazing job of that. I am truly married to my best friend. We laugh often and try to see the best in every situation, or at least find the humor in it. We have four beautiful children. Cullan (7) Kael (6) Briea (3) and Ayla (2). We are currently living in Illinois while Garran attends Grad School. He is a talented print maker and is enjoying his time here. He has a website if you are interested. www.garrangillespie.com Right now we are living every day to the fullest and trying to have as much fun as possible along the way!!

This explains why I blog so much RIGHT?

“Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life. …
“What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved?”
Elder Spencer W Kimball!

I need to read this every morning!

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."
