BFA sucess!!

well even though it looked like this outside the day of the show, it was a complete success! we got to the gallery around 6:00 to start setting stuff up. then everyone started arriving and the show was opened.here are just a few people in the gallery. i walked in and snapped a few shots after thing had slowed down a little.here is the show announcement outside the gallery. it was so much fun. the gallery director said it was attended well. we had 193 show, just one day after a blizzard!!!this picture makes me smile. it is garran with his two professors Tim and Aaron. I just think it is funny how Tim and Garran have their hands on their faces looking into the gallery at Garrans work. two of the youngest guest last night. briea and her buddy Finn!it was so nice of our friends and family to come out. here is my friend stacy and myself. she just had a baby like a week ago. she was a trooper.we had family come out as well. my mom, step dad, and sister drove up for it and garrans parents and sister came as well. here is garran with his dad, not sure what cullan is doing??last but not least. one happy family. happy because the big night is over, much less stress. also though, because it was such a hit. i could not believe the turnout and garran even sold a piece on opening night. we were so excited!! it is still up till the 19th so if you live in the area, feel free to stop by!! congratulations honey on your big night, it was great

Congratulations to you all! What a great way to go into the Holidays! I wish we could have been there. (Although, we would have added six more plus an inflated belly to the mix, so you may be glad we weren't there! :) Also, that is awesome Garran sold a picture! I miss you all!

I love the saying "the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother". My husband does an amazing job of that. I am truly married to my best friend. We laugh often and try to see the best in every situation, or at least find the humor in it. We have four beautiful children. Cullan (7) Kael (6) Briea (3) and Ayla (2). We are currently living in Illinois while Garran attends Grad School. He is a talented print maker and is enjoying his time here. He has a website if you are interested. www.garrangillespie.com Right now we are living every day to the fullest and trying to have as much fun as possible along the way!!

This explains why I blog so much RIGHT?

“Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life. …
“What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved?”
Elder Spencer W Kimball!

I need to read this every morning!

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."
