b-b-b-blizzard~

today when i woke up garran informed me that we were under a blizzard warning which then turned into an actual blizzard. i ran quick to the store to get some milk and a few other things we needed and then returned home. we had a pretty relaxed day of still catching up on laundry and having tickle fights with the boys. they are so funny. they run and climb under the blankets of our bed while we pretend like we can not see them. then all of a sudden we attack.
anyways after all that fun, cullan asked if they could go outside and play in the snow. since i am not really in a great state to roll around and play in the snow, i just took pictures. garran played though and they had lots of fun!-the boys having snowball fights with daddy--cullan making snow angels-
(this one makes me laugh out loud looking at it every time)
garran starting to push kael down the hill, however there was so much snow it was a little to thick and ......
-i was laughing so hard this is the only picture that i got, however i am glad to say that he saved it and end up not falling--take two of kael going down the hill--one of the cutest little boys playing in the snow i have ever seen--being a very useful engine. (those are cullans words not mine)-

-kael giving up, i think he was getting cold--cullan showing me exactly what a snow ball looks like--hmm what is garrans face saying to you? i think he might be ready to go inside--another perfect example of cuteness in the snow!-

(don't worry he had mittens on. this was right before we went in. he took his gloves off and then realized it was a big mistake)

-all tuckered out. playing in the snow is hard work!-

hope everyone is warm, no matter where you are!

I miss the blizzards, in Iowa everything stops when one rolls through. In Utah everything just keeps on going. Enjoy it!

Love to see you guys enjoying the excess of snow. We can't wait to make a snowman when it warms up a bit.

I love the saying "the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother". My husband does an amazing job of that. I am truly married to my best friend. We laugh often and try to see the best in every situation, or at least find the humor in it. We have four beautiful children. Cullan (7) Kael (6) Briea (3) and Ayla (2). We are currently living in Illinois while Garran attends Grad School. He is a talented print maker and is enjoying his time here. He has a website if you are interested. www.garrangillespie.com Right now we are living every day to the fullest and trying to have as much fun as possible along the way!!

This explains why I blog so much RIGHT?

“Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life. …
“What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved?”
Elder Spencer W Kimball!

I need to read this every morning!

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."

-President Gordon B. Hinckley
