Aquarium Day!

Wednesday we went to the aquarium. let me tell you, it is not small task organizing 30 people in a public place. my stress level was a little elevated this day.
i do not always do well when i can not see all my children.
but we got everything organized. here we all our in our AWESOME family reunion t-shirts that my talented hubby designed and printed. we were breaking everyone up and assigning buddies.
Shaleigh was Briea's buddy. she was so great. she patiently chased briea from exhibit to exhibit. she was a real trooper. Breia was a small ball of energy this day. she loved looking at all of the fish.
i thought this was really cute. here is briea, piper, haley and i think alayna climbing under this dome shaped tank. you could go underneath it and look up at all of the fish swimming. it was pretty cool. briea sat there for some time. she must take after me. i love aquariums. i could spend the whole day watching the fish swim. it is so peaceful.
some of my favorite things to watch. the jelly fish. they are so graceful. i love to watch them in the aquarium. i don't care for them so much in person. ;0)
cullan, tobie, tessa, and kael. they were checking out the shark exhibit.
the sharks were so cool. there were so many and the tank was enormous! this was probably one of the best aquariums i have ever been to.
aunt silara and piper checking stuff out. i think this was at the shark exhibit also.
see i told you shaleigh was a trooper. she and grandma were telling briea all about the different fishy's in the tank.
um i just put this in because ayla was having such a good time. oh and um she is ADORABLE!!
another cool picture. the sea horse.
i forget what the exact name is for this, but he is so funky looking.
this was in the tunnel. it was so cool. the tunnel was so long. it just kept going and going. this shark was just hanging out. it really loved resting on the tunnel. i did not mind. it made for great pictures and we got to check it out close up!
her are jadelyn, charleigh and uncle Joe on the moving walk way in the tunnel. i had to snap fast. as you can see they were moving on!
 Aunt silara, Katie, and Piper.
i got a picture of silara getting a picture of some fish. ;-)
uncle dennis, brina, and aunt jerusha checking stuff out.
shaleigh and briea pretending to be a diver.
oh and garran and ayla too.
aren't these next two pictures just pretty. i love the oddness of these. some one got creative when making them up, huh?

garran and i were laughing about these crabs. the biggest crab was sitting on top of the rock. then there were other crabs all around in the tank. however, the one in the bottom right of the corner looked a little shifty. we decided that he was definitely plotting on how to take over that rock. we also decided that he would succeed.
cullan getting some much needed help smiling. he was feeling grumpy for a moment, and so daddy stepped into help!
these tanks were at the end of the aquarium. briea really loved these fish. so much so, that she asked me to take her picture and went and posed in front of it!
the aquarium was a lot of fun and very interesting.
the best part of all is that we left there with everyone that we started with!!

I love the saying "the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother". My husband does an amazing job of that. I am truly married to my best friend. We laugh often and try to see the best in every situation, or at least find the humor in it. We have four beautiful children. Cullan (7) Kael (6) Briea (3) and Ayla (2). We are currently living in Illinois while Garran attends Grad School. He is a talented print maker and is enjoying his time here. He has a website if you are interested. www.garrangillespie.com Right now we are living every day to the fullest and trying to have as much fun as possible along the way!!

This explains why I blog so much RIGHT?

“Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life. …
“What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved?”
Elder Spencer W Kimball!

I need to read this every morning!

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers."
