Awkward

Tonight Briea and I were laying on my bed watching Sense and Sensibility. Briea had not been feeling well and so had stayed up later than the other kids. When Garran came in to go to bed, Briea rolled over and looked at me and said, "Well this is awkward!". I don't know where she comes up with this stuff but I just laughed and laughed. Then when I repeated what she said for Garran she told me "Mom, that was our sweetrick". Garran says that is brieas version of a secret, just with a little extra sweetness added on!
Oh I love moments like this. The funny things they say. They make feel so lucky to be there mom!

I love the saying "the best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother". My husband does an amazing job of that. I am truly married to my best friend. We laugh often and try to see the best in every situation, or at least find the humor in it. We have four beautiful children. Cullan (7) Kael (6) Briea (3) and Ayla (2).
